This extension does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data or browsing history. It performs one function: resolving Web3 ".dex" names that the user explicitly enters or navigates to.
Stored locally: one user preference — the resolver gateway URL — kept in Chrome's extension storage (synced by your browser if you enable Chrome sync). It contains no personal information and can be deleted at any time by removing the extension.
Sent over the network: when, and only when, you navigate to or search for a ".dex" name, that name is sent to the configured resolver gateway to fetch its public on-chain records. No other browsing activity, page content, search history, identifiers, or device information is observed or transmitted.
The extension does not use analytics or tracking; does not read page content on any website; does not modify search results; does not use cookies; does not run remote code; and does not share any data with third parties. Redirects occur only when a hostname or search query is exactly a ".dex" name.
declarativeNetRequest / host access: used solely for declarative redirect rules covering (a) hosts ending in ".dex" and (b) search-result URLs whose query is exactly a ".dex" name. These rules run inside the browser; request contents are never exposed to the extension. storage: holds the gateway URL setting. tabs: opens the resolver page when you use the omnibox keyword; tab contents, titles, and URLs are never read.
